Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. As a Senior Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling various customer specific components and systems. Your expertise in hand tools, power tools, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our agricultural feed hopper trailers.

Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and installation of mechanical and electrical components according to engineering specifications
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to assemble, adjust, and test components such as augers, junction boxes, hydraulic control valves and motors in addition to pneumatic air lines and valves
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions in the assembly process
- Collaborate with other team members to improve assembly processes and product quality
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in assembly work in a manufacturing environment, preferably in heavy equipment/trailers
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers
- Familiarity with machining processes and ability to fabricate components as needed
- Strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pnuematic systems and ability to read schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to stand, bend, twist and meet physical demands of job with or without accomodation
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds from the floor to waist.
