Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Supervisor to manage, analyze, control and lead the charge in optimizing inventory accuracy, streamlining supply chain processes, and enhancing warehouse efficiency. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee inventory management operations, implement process improvements, and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless stock control. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective material planning, inventory control, and inventory control audits.
  • Collaborate with service, purchasing, MR Planners, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels, and optimize stock to minimize waste and reduce costs.
  • Ensure regular inventory accuracy audits are done and conduct proper root cause analysis with corrective action.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze inventory accuracy reports to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP.
  • Coordinate with service and purchasing teams to forecast material requirements and align inventory levels accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and OSHA safety regulations.
  • Train and supervise team members involved in all materials handling processes.
  • Keep the ERP organized as it relates to inventory controls and material handling tasks.
  • Complete regular 5S audits of the inventory storage, organization, and movements.
  • Ensure that items are picked and delivered on time and according to order specifications.
  • Prepare reports and provide insights on material flow, cost analysis, and process improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain the material handling equipment such as scanners and printers.

Qualifications

  • Prior and proven experience in Inventory Control or in a similar supply chain or logistics role. (required)
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, procurement processes, and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and G-Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
