Walinga Inc. is currently looking to fill a full time Technician position. The purpose of this position is to know and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and parts assemblies.

Essential Duties:

  • Read drawings and take or read measurements
  • Fabricate equipment by drilling and bolting for assembly
  • Install parts on unit
  • Install electrical and hydraulics on the unit
  • Torque wheel nuts
  • Maintain equipment and work area within department in a condition that does not compromise safety
  • Ability to use power tools such as drill, impact gun, rivet gun, welder and hand tools

Minimum Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of the methods and standard practices of the trade; electrical, hydraulics
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and ability to report unsafe conditions
  • Range of motion: ability to climb, walk, squat, kneel and perform above shoulder height activity
  • Work in various positions (flat and vertical planes, overhead)
  • Lift from floor to waist (a minimum of 10lbs up to 50lbs)
