Discharge Systems

Walinga Inc offers a number of different options when it comes to unloading feed and grain. We offer auger unloading, air unloading, paddle chains and drag chains. Which ever suits your needs!

Air Discharge

The Walinga Pneumatic discharge system utilizes the Walinga designed and developed Super Duty Positive Displacement Blower, as well as the Walinga designed and developed Cast Iron Airlock.

Auger Discharge

The Walinga design employs a 9in. (23cm) diameter trough auger with helicoid flighting on a 2 1/2 in (63mm) diameter shaft. Direct drive by a heavy duty, spring mounted high torque hydraulic motor incorporates automatic surge overload protection that controls the speed of the discharge augers. The design includes a heavy duty thrust bearing on the drive end and hanger bearing at the discharge end. A plastic (UHMW) liner in the auger trough is supplied to provide a tighter fit between auger and trough as well as prolonged life of trough.

Paddle Discharge

Both systems incorporate the Walinga direct drive, heavy duty, spring mounted, high-torque hydraulic motor design. This system allows for better speed control of the discharge system and longer component life. Wear liners are also incorporated into the trough and paddle boom to provide you with better clean-out and longer wear life.

Blower Package

The Walinga Blower is a precision machined, Positive Displacement design blower. Hard coated internal surfaces provide for greater wear resistance in transfer applications. The Walinga blower is available in two prime sizes: Model 510-1100 cfm capacity and; Model 614-1800 cfm capacity.

Transition Head

Double Chain flat paddle with horizontal sliding gates, which is ideal for typical Dairy "Sticky" feeds or in a 1/2 moon style Single chain paddle with Inverted "V" style gates, which is ideal for pelleted feeds and especially designed for "range cubes" or "cow cakes."

Rotary Vein Airlocks

The Walinga Airlock is a precision-machined cast iron housing hydraulically driven airlock. The Walinga manufactured airlocks have been designed to provide maximum performance, with minimal product damage.

The fabricated steel rotor is available in 8 or 10 vane configurations with stainless steel, carbon steel knife edge or composite rubber adjustable tips. The injets and outlet are designed to allow for a freer flow of material providing for maximum capacity and minimal product damage.

Boom Rotation

The rotation of the Boom is by means of RC80 primary reduction and RD50 secondary reduction drives. Rated strength is 14,000 lbs. (6343 kg). Hydraulic over load protection is provided through a cross over relief valve.

Inverted "V" Gates

Inverted "V" gates allow each compartment to be individually discharged of its load through selective operation of the gates. Manual type rack & pinion are standard. Air operated gates are offered as an option. With the inverted "V" gates, the gates can be closed "against the load."

Transfer Systems

The Walinga Ultra-Vac provides the operator with the flexibility to draw on left-over feed, clean-up spills or move product around the mill with a unit that is easy to run and easily brought to the farm. The Ultra-Vac can be located on either the tractor or on the trailer and is also available in a completely self contained model. The Ultra-Vac features patented pre-cleaner dust separator, Walinga model 510 Chrome blower, hydraulic powered airlock with adjustable tips and stainless steel suction hoses.
